Will India Travel To the Pakistan for ICC Champions Trophy

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) vice-president Rajeev Shukla has quashed rumours of the Indian cricket team not travelling to Pakistan to participate in the Champions Trophy 2025.

The reason behind this statement The Political Relationships between India and Pakistan, security reason is just excuse by indian cricket board (BCCI) and their Goverment. The Indian Cricket team is unlikely to travel to Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 owing to tensed relationship shared by the two neighbours, ANI reported citing sources on Thursday. BCCI will ask ICC to host matches in Hybrid model in Dubai and Sri Lanka indian media source said. As in 2023 Asia Cup was done on Hybrid model “The tournament will be hosted in a hybrid model with four matches being held in Pakistan, and the remaining nine matches being played in Sri Lanka.” According to a PCB statement, India will not be playing any of its matches in Pakistan. It was happened in 2023 when PCB Chairman was Najam Sathi. But now it’s 2024 Chairman of PCB is Mohsin Naqvi and the most important thing is that it’s ICC tournament. If ICC refuse to BCCI then what happen will India bycot the tournament and Sri Lanka will play the Champion Trophy as on holding the nineth position on table? Well i don’t think it will be good for cricket and icc.

What Pakistan should do for icc champion trophy?

These kind of news are like pre analycis of the situation so BCCI can take the right decision about the travel of indian cricket team to Pakistan. Pakistan should talk directly to ICC because this tournament is organized by ICC and ask them to convence India to travel Pakistan but ICC offers Pakistan Hybrid model then Pakistan should do like that:

Group A

  1. Pakistan (Hosts)
  2. Bangladesh
  3. South Africa
  4. New Zealand

Group B

  1. India
  2. England
  3. Afghanistan
  4. Australia

Group A Mathes held in Pakistan and Group B in Dubai or Sri Lanka 1st semifinal in Pakistan and 2nd semifinal in Hybrid country if india do not go in semifianl or final then both semifinal and final will be held in Pakistan. If India goes into the final then final should be in Hybrid Country. Pakistan must tell the ICC that from onword Pakistan will also not travell India in future 2026 ICC T20 WC because of our political relatonship.
